Westlea is situated in a quiet, residential tree lined street in the centre of the North West Highland coastal village of Ullapool.

Ullapool is reached by road on the A835 from the South and Inverness. Travelling time by road between Inverness and Ullapool is approximately 1 hour.

Directions to Westlea from the Ullapool pier are to head up the hill (Quay Street). Market Street is the third street on the right and Westlea is on your left hand side soon after turning into Market Street.

There is a regular twice daily bus service to Ullapool from Inverness (except Sundays). There are also bus services from the North operating between Ullapool and Durness, Lochinver and Achiltiebuie.

The nearest airport is Inverness airport which has flights from various UK and some European destinations.

Ullapool is also the main ferry port to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
