Westlea is a family run Guest House situated in the picturesque West Coast village of Ullapool and has been awarded 4 star quality rating by Visit Scotland.

The North West Highlands of Scotland offer an outstanding area of natural beauty and each year welcomes visitors from all over the world.

Whether you are looking to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery on our doorstep, or you would like to do something more energetic such as hill walking or fishing there is a huge choice of activities for you to enjoy in and around Ullapool. The village is an ideal base to explore the whole of the North of Scotland, including

•  Achiltibuie, Durness and the North Coast
•  the famous Inverewe Gardens and Gairloch to the South
•  Dornoch and Dunrobin Castle on the East coast of Sutherland

All of these can be reached by day trips from Ullapool, and each takes in spectacular scenery including dramatic mountains and beautiful sandy beaches.

The Western Isles and Outer Hebrides are also easily accessible, with Ullapool being the main ferry port for the Isles of Lewis and Harris.

We are Mairi and Angus MacLennan and bought Westlea in January 2007. We both originate from the Highlands of Scotland, and are committed to providing our guests with a standard of Highland hospitality that will ensure they leave with lasting and fond memories of their visit.

The house is situated in a quiet, tree lined street in the centre of the village and all the local amenities are within a five minute walk. We have five letting rooms so you can be assured of our best attention at all times.
